Stay in Flow with Intentional Scent Rituals

I rotate between three different scents depending on the mood. This one is for when I need grounding and calm.

I use Wildwood Retreat in my classes when we focus on breathwork and reconnection. The lemongrass and patchouli open the space, and there’s a cool stillness to it. It doesn’t overpower — it holds space.

Growing up in Lima, the scent of palo santo was always in our home — my abuela would burn it before we started the day. This one feels just as real: soft, smoky, but never harsh. I light it after journaling in the evenings. It keeps me grounded, especially when the city feels loud.

I don’t use sage casually. I burn this intentionally during big shifts: after an argument, during a move, or when I feel off. It’s clean, not chemically, and doesn’t choke the space. Subtle but powerful.

I light Blushing Rose while doing my skincare and setting intentions for the day. It smells like a real rose garden — not fake or powdery. There’s this warmth to it that makes me feel held, like I’m choosing softness over stress. It’s honestly become part of my self-worth practice.

Working in finance can leave my mind racing even after hours. This scent helps me shift gears — grounding, quiet, and exactly what I need to reconnect with myself.
